Nick Knowles explores the wonders and hazards of the hottest place on Earth. Nick goes sand buggy driving and experiences dawn at Zabriskie Point as he witnesses amazing views of craggy mountains, dunes, craters and salt flats. He travels from golden dunes at the southern tip of Death Valley, through barren salt flats to a well-preserved ghost town, before ending up at Death Valley Junction for a night at the opera.
